If you follow us on social media, you may have noticed that we have added a new member to our team, our Eastwood Elf on the Shelf, Stewart!
Stewart pledged to spend his holiday traveling to our Eastwood Homes communities to make sure we have been behaving and that our homes are Built With Care for their new families! We welcomed him with open arms because we, too, want to make sure our homes are perfect for the children (both young and old) who will be living there.
He spent time in Charlotte, both with our Charlotte sales and construction teams and in our corporate office. He also visited our communities in Raleigh, too! We found him operating construction equipment, using power tools, hanging from chandeliers, making messes in our kitchens, relaxing in our owner’s suites and even doing acrobatics in our huge walk-in closets! He’s made friends with bobble heads and with nutcrackers. He got tangled up in calculator tape. If he could get into mischief, he did! He’s really made himself at home here at Eastwood, and we’ve all grown fond of the little Elf!
Stewart loves to have his photo taken, too! Here are just some of the many pictures we've taken during the past couple weeks. Be sure to check out all his holiday shenanigans on our Eastwood Homes Facebook page! Let us know what you think!
Did you know that Stewart is named after our company’s owners, the Stewart family? Joe Stewart founded Eastwood Homes in 1977 and now runs the company with his son, Clark. Myra Stewart (Joe's wife and Clark's mom) took a moment to share a family recipe with our homeowners recently, and we wanted to share that with you, too. Here's her beloved Shrimp Dip Appetizer. We hope you will enjoy it as much as the Stewarts and the rest of our Eastwood family has!
What’s not to love about the holidays? With the joyous cheer and the season of giving, it’s hard to not have a happy holiday. Unfortunately, approximately 8,000 accidents occur as a result of holiday decorating. To keep you and your family safe, we've compiled as list of tips to help you stay merry this holiday season!
This time of year can be significant for new homeowners as they celebrate their first holiday season in their new home. Family and friends of the new homeowner can help make this time even more special with gifts especially geared toward new homeowners. These gift ideas will help you show the new homeowner in your life that you are celebrating this momentous occasion with them!
At Eastwood Homes, we have many reasons to be thankful, not just on Thanksgiving, but throughout the entire year. As a home builder, we are in one of the most rewarding businesses - the business of helping people find their dream home. We have an opportunity every day to help someone change their life for the better and what could be more rewarding? Our team is made up of dedicated, passionate people who truly love what they do and we are led by a generous, caring father and son team, Joe and Clark Stewart.
