Do you love lake life? We do, too! We are so excited about our newest community that's just an easy 10-minute drive to the boat launches of Lake Lanier!
Cambridge, located in the city of Flowery Branch in Hall County, is just a 45-minute drive to Atlanta making it a perfect location for commuters to the ATL. Its location is also ideal for those who just need to be near the main transportation hub that is Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the busiest airport in the world. Our homeowners in Cambridge will also be able to visit Atlanta for shopping, dining, recreation, sporting events, and so much more with its close proximity!
But folks don’t need to travel to Hotlanta as Flowery Branch with its population of 5,679 is also home to some great attractions, including a nice list of restaurants (which is always important!) Its “Old Town” is undergoing revitalization while maintaining its picturesque appeal that dates back to 1874 when it was established. Many of the original buildings in the historic central business district still exist and have been rehabilitated. Residents can enjoy a walkable downtown with new development alongside its historic roots. It is described by town officials as a “charming quintessential Main Street.”
Flowery Branch also offers a convenient shopping center for everyday needs, the Stonebridge Village Mall. Its 34 shops provide services like retail (Target and Home Depot) and beauty (Salon Pure and Supercuts) among others!
Sports fans will love knowing that the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and the Georgia Force Arena Football League teams are both headquartered in Flowery Branch! The teams enjoy state-of-the-art training facilities which host the Atlanta Falcons training camp. Did you know that the Falcons training camp is open to the public, too?
But back to lake life! Flowery Branch boasts of being one of the only historic downtowns in Georgia that is also on a lake. We love the idea of living near a quaint downtown while being close to all that Lake Lanier offers. And trust us when we say it has a lot to offer! Did you know that there are more than 160 islands within the 38,000 acres of the lake, including the popular Three Sisters Island? In addition to enjoying an afternoon on the lake, there are many parks and trails on and near the lake. There are even canopy tours and ziplines! The lake is also home to an Olympic Park, which hosts the Lake Lanier Rowing Club and Canoe Kayak Club. The list of attractions goes on and on and includes sporting facilities and the popular Reunion Country Club. When you get done playing on or near the lake, the dining options abound! From quick meals to sit-down steak houses or international dining, and of course some dessert options, too. And there are even breweries popping up! We promise you won’t go hungry here!
Our community of Cambridge will start in the $400Ks and offer a pool and cabana as amenities. We will have 130 Lake Lanier homes for sale including one-, two-, and three-story floorplans!
