Its “Old Town” is undergoing revitalization while maintaining its picturesque appeal that dates back to 1874 when it was established. Many of the original buildings in the historic central business district still exist and have been rehabilitated. Residents can enjoy a walkable downtown with new development alongside its historic roots. It is described by town officials as a “charming quintessential Main Street.”
Flowery Branch also offers a convenient shopping center for everyday needs, the Stonebridge Village Mall. Its 34 shops provide services like retail (Target and Home Depot) and beauty (Salon Pure and Supercuts) among others!
Sports fans will love knowing that the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and the Georgia Force Arena Football League teams are both headquartered in Flowery Branch! The teams enjoy state-of-the-art training facilities which host the Atlanta Falcons training camp. Did you know that the Falcons training camp is open to the public, too?
But back to lake life! Flowery Branch boasts of being one of the only historic downtowns in Georgia that is also on a lake. We love the idea of living near a quaint downtown while being close to all that Lake Lanier offers. And trust us when we say it has a lot to offer!
