New Homes in Mocksville, NC: Large-Lot Communities by Eastwood Homes

September 04, 2026

Buyers who want more room are increasingly looking west of Winston-Salem, into Davie County. Mocksville has retained what many growing communities across the Triad have given up in recent years: meaningful distance between neighbors, mature trees, open sky, and a slower pace, all within a reasonable drive of Interstate 40. Eastwood Homes has built its presence in Mocksville around that appeal, and three communities currently make up that presence: Saddle Farm, now selling; The Reserve, coming soon; and Foxcroft, a newly announced community still being finalized ahead of its addition to the website.

Saddle Farm: Estate-Sized Homesites, Now Selling

Saddle Farm is located off Main Church Road, close enough to Interstate 40 for a convenient drive to Winston-Salem, Statesville, or Charlotte, yet removed enough to feel like true country living. Homesites here run up to 5+ acres, which is uncommon for a community this close to the interstate, giving homeowners room for gardens, workshops, or simply additional distance between properties.

Nine floor plans are currently available, ranging from the 1,738-square-foot Fenwick starting at $455,900 to the 3,119-square-foot Hamilton starting at $519,900. The Raleigh, Davidson, Cypress, Caldwell, Cooper, Sullivan, and Mayfair plans round out the collection, with pricing starting from the mid $400s. Most plans include three or more bedrooms, two or more bathrooms, and a two-car garage.

Homes in Saddle Farm are zoned for Mocksville Elementary School, South Davie Middle School, and Davie County High School. Nearby, residents have access to Tanglewood Park, Oak Valley Golf Club, and Salem Glen Golf & Country Club, along with local dining at O'Callahan's Publick House and Tanglewood Pizza Company.

The Reserve: Coming Soon, More Large Lots

The Reserve is Eastwood's next large-lot community planned for Mocksville, built on the same principle that has proven successful at Saddle Farm: buyers in this market are looking for acreage, not just square footage. Pricing is proposed from the $500s. Interested buyers can join the VIP interest list now to be notified as homesites, floor plans, and pricing are finalized.

Foxcroft: A New Community Taking Shape

Foxcroft is the newest addition to Eastwood's Mocksville lineup and is coming soon. What can be shared at this stage is that Foxcroft will follow the same large-lot approach established at Saddle Farm and The Reserve, giving Davie County buyers another option for space around the home rather than a standard suburban lot. Additional details on homesites, floor plans, and pricing will be released as the community moves toward launch.

A Different Approach to Growth in the Triad

Mocksville has not followed the same development pattern as many of its neighbors. The town has kept a genuine main street, working farmland along its outskirts, and a reasonable commute to Winston-Salem, Statesville, and Charlotte. As available lot sizes have narrowed across much of the region, Eastwood Homes has taken a different approach in Mocksville, prioritizing acreage and building homes designed to make good use of it.

Eastwood Homes has been building in the Carolinas, Virginia, and Georgia since 1977, and each of these communities reflects the same approach the company has applied for nearly five decades: quality construction, reasonable pricing, and homes built with care.
