Celebrating 60 years of events in Greensboro, the Greensboro Coliseum has hosted a variety of events including recording and performing artists, all types of sporting events from rodeos to basketball games, and ice-skating to hockey games, plus fairs and other exhibits.
Lake Brandt is an 816-acre municipal reservoir originally built in 1925. Today residents enjoy the lake for fishing, including largemouth bass, crappie, and catfish, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and canoeing.
The Greensboro Grasshoppers are a Class A Pittsburgh Pirates affiliated minor league baseball team offering fun for everyone, all season long with events including Bark in the Park, picnics, and event space.
