In 1975, Carolina Raptor Center was born as its first raptor rehabilitation patient was taken in. The Raptor Trail, a three-quarter-mile trail and zoological facility feature many opportunities to view nearly 30 birds of prey and learn how they are an important part of the ecosystem and conservation efforts in North Carolina.
