Gastonia, NC Highlights
Since its creation in 1922, this 242-acre park with a stunning lake has been a Gastonia fixture. Featuring an 80-acre lake as its centerpiece, there is a paved trail around the perimeter, fishing piers, a clubhouse, a disc golf course, plus much more!
The Schiele Museum of Natural History is a popular Gastonia museum featuring five permanent exhibits, the largest collection of land mammal specimens in the southeast, and outdoor recreations of a Catawba Native American village and a working farm. The Schiele also features the second largest planetarium in the state of North Carolina.
Can you hike a mountain in Gaston County? Yes! The peak of Crowder's Mountain, while not technically a mountain, rises to about 1,625 feet and is located within Crowder's Mountain State Park, a 5,300-acre park. The park offers rock climbing, hiking, camping, fishing, and more!
Very impressed with the quality
My husband used to be a contactor and is very impressed with the quality of the homes. Our home inspector was also very impressed with the thought and care that got put into each home. These are not your cookie-cutter homes like some other very large home builders.

Eastwood has been a refreshing change.
Generally in my prior experience, customer service, when it existed, with a builder was subpar at best. Eastwood has been a refreshing change. I could not ask for better customer service.

He decreased our stress!
Our New Home Specialist Jason was great to work with and forthcoming with all information. Our builder Todd was very knowledgeable about our home and took our concerns seriously. He decreased our stress in the homebuilding process. 10/10! Our experience was good overall with only minor hiccups, but Todd fixed everything!
