Easley, SC Highlights
The Doodle Rail Trail is a 7.5-mile multi-use trail, fun for biking, and strolling, rollerblading, and running. The "rails-to-trails" concept started with the formerly used railway which connects Easley with Pickens and now provides year-round outdoor enjoyment. The Doodle Trail is named for the way the freight engine, which had to run backwards between the cities, looked like a doodlebug!
Located only about 24 miles from Easley, Lake Keowee is a beautiful, clear blue lake, which is partially in Pickens County. The lake and surrounding area offers gorgeous views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and fantastic boating, water-skiing, fishing, camping, and more!
