Charleston, SC – October 10, 2014 – Carolina based home builder, Eastwood Homes, is partnering with the local radio stations of iHeartMedia to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer research. Through the initiative, “Light the Town Pink,” listeners will be encouraged to purchase pink light bulbs for $3 each and place them outside their homes and businesses, lighting the town pink. The promotion is currently being featured on all Charleston-area iHeartMedia radio stations, including WEZL, WXLY, WSCC, and WRFQ. Proceeds are being donated to the Lowcountry Affiliate of Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Light bulbs can be purchased at many area Walgreens locations. A full list of locations can be found on the main website.
Supporters of the “Light the Town Pink” initiative are invited to purchase light bulbs during a celebration in the Eastwood Homes community of Fieldview, located in Summerville SC. The celebration will take place on Sunday, October 19th from 12 to 2 pm. Courtney Starr will be broadcasting live from the community, selling pink light bulbs, and giving away door prizes to guests.
Fieldview is located at 100 Turner Field Way, Summerville SC 29483. The community is just off of Gahagan Road, not far from historic downtown Summerville. Homes in Fieldview start in the $200’s, and feature rear access garages, innovative exterior elevations, and sought-after included features.
