Eastwood PARTNERS WITH LEVINE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
CHARLOTTE - Eastwood Homes is reinforcing its long-standing commitment to the Charlotte area by entering into a philanthropic partnership with Carolinas HealthCare System and Levine Children’s Hospital.
Eastwood Homes will donate a percentage of revenue for every house it sells. The agreement is for 10 years with a total commitment of $500,000. To commemorate the philanthropic partnership, Levine Children’s Hospital will host a photo opportunity with both hospital and Eastwood Homes representatives on Tuesday, January 15 at 10 a.m.
Joe Stewart, who founded Eastwood Homes 30 years ago, explained: “My family and our company have always strived to be good citizens. We value our community, its people, our employees and homeowners. As a gesture of appreciation, we are proud to offer support in a way that benefits the community at large. The Levine Children’s Hospital is a tremendous asset to our growing region. We believe in the principle of ‘do good by doing good.’”

The recently opened Levine Children’s Hospital (LCH) is a 12-story, 234-bed facility designed with family-centered care as a top priority. Established to accommodate projected growth of more than 100,000 children in the next nine years, it is the third largest children’s hospital in the Southeast. LCH treats an average of 134 children each day – more children than any other hospital in the Carolinas. Located on the campus of Carolinas Medical Center, the hospital serves as the regional referral center for pediatric trauma and pediatric surgical services.
